Christmas & New Year's Eve at Madrid
Hi there!!!
Last time I updated this site was what? October? with pics from July? Well, a lot of things have happened since, and definitively my life is 90% different from the one I wrote while I was in New Zealand. I'm still not sure if im better off now... its just another stage.
As most of you know, I (finally) finished my major last december and I've got my BA a month ago. I was suposed to start saving the world as soon as I did so, but time goes by faster that I expected and I still haven't been able to launch or even desing my 'save the world' plan. Opportunities appear even when you're not looking for them, and most of the times it's wiser to take them than to wonder and over analyze the situation for too long. So, I took my chances and now I have a great-real job. My days working at the theather as a hostess just for fun seem to be so far away!!!...
So, I feel older than I'd like, but it would be worse if I hadn't traveled with my sister during December, just after I got my current job. These are pics from Spain, and I'll upload some others from Lisbon. Something terrible happened to all the pics I had from my 2004 trip to Europe, so I tried to get as many as I could this time. It wasn't difficult since we arrived to Madrid on december 25 at 7 am when it as all closed and the streets were empty.

Our plane back home took off form Lisbon with a delay, so we lost our connection at Madrid on december 31st. We had to wait till the next day at 1 am to come back to Mexico, which means, we spent New Year's eve at Barajas Airport.
The first picture shows the consecuences of a bomb that had been placed at the airport by ETA th day before. The second one, me and my sister exactly at 12.00 am (if i had got the clock you could have seen it). That was the beginning of my promising 2007.
I'll try to come and write more often, I'm sure most of you still haven't read all my kiwi and aussie adventures so, do it!
